Forecast Discussion

Issued: Thursday, November 7, 2019 - 10:10PM

Forecaster: Brennen Perry

Snow squall activity will continue overnight into Friday morning south of Georgian Bay and east-southeast of Lake Huron bringing up to 20cm of additional snowfall on top of the snow from Thursday. The bullseye for 12-20cm of snow accumulation is located between Grand Bend and London which includes Parkhill and Alisa Craig. Lower amounts between 8-14cm extend from Kincardine southward along the Lake Huron shoreline towards just outside of London. The City of London will see 4-10cm with slightly higher amounts in the northwestern section of the city. Turning towards Georgian Bay, another 4-10cm can be expected around the Collingwood and Meaford area with the chance of locally 8-14cm just southwest of Collingwood over the higher elevations. Organized snow squalls will begin to dissipate by the noon hour with lake effect flurries lingering into the afternoon and clearing by evening.
