Forecaster: Brennen Perry

Unorganized lake effect snow is expected will bring light accumulation to regions east of Georgian Bay overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. An approaching weak system from the US Midwest will reach Southern Ontario by Wednesday evening resulting in a swath of light snow across Southwestern and Central Ontario into the Nothern GTA by midnight. A general 2-4cm can be expected outside of the Georgian Bay and Lake Huron region with higher amounts between 4-8cm possible due to lake enhancement east of Georgian Bay and Lake Huron. The system will continue to affect the region through to Thursday, but accumulation after 12am Thursday is not included in this forecast - refer to our Day 2/3 outlook for more details on the remainder of this system.
