A weak clipper system from the Prairies will bring a swath of moderate to heavy snowfall to Southern Ontario early Saturday. Generally, most of Southern Ontario will see less than 5cm from this system north of Lake Simcoe and maybe a few flakes to the south. Lake enhancement and embedded snow squalls will increase the potential accumulation to between 10-20cm for areas northeast of Georgian Bay. The exact intensity of the lake enhancement and location of it remains uncertain and not everyone will necessarily see the 10-20cm due to the localized nature of lake effect snow. The sustained snow will end by Saturday night with flurries continuing into Sunday.
