Issued: Thursday, November 7, 2019 - 12:50AM

Forecaster: Brennen Perry

Strong snow squalls are expected to affect regions south of Georgian Bay and east of Lake Huron between Thursday and Friday. Total snowfall accumulation may exceed 30cm in some location by the end of Friday. The bullseye for the heaviest snowfall appears to be between Meaford and Flesherton around the higher elevations of the Blue Mountains. Over 10cm is possible off of Lake Huron including the Kincardine and Saugeen Shores area. The exact direction of the snow bands will dictate who sees how much snow and a small change may result in a shift of the heaviest snowfall. Lake effect snow will come to an end late Friday afternoon.
