Forecaster: Brennen Perry
Intense snow squall activity is expected to continue south of Georgian Bay and southeast/east of Lake Huron into Friday morning. This will likely prompt several school bus cancellations within the hardest-hit regions including Grey-Bruce, Huron, Middlesex, Lambton and Western Simcoe counties. The probability varies between 25-75% within the area based on where we expect the heaviest snow squall bands to be located in the morning. Elsewhere, the chance of a snow day is near zero as little snow accumulation is expected outside of the ‘snowbelt'. We are aware that some school boards have a PA Day on Friday so ignore this forecast if that applies to you - congratulations on the guaranteed snow day!
Disclaimer: Instant Weather has zero authority when it comes to bus and school closures. It is completely up to the school boards, bus companies, and local authorities as well as being up to parents to decide what is best for their children. This is simply our best guess based on our forecast.
