After what felt like the cold snap that would never end, relief is finally in sight after Thursday morning. The morning hours will still have wind chills pushing -40°C for much of the province before warmer air pushes its way up from the south. By the afternoon and evening, we expect that many of the extreme cold warnings will have been dropped. It may still be a bit brisk on Friday morning, but it won’t be nearly as cold as it’s been over the past week.
