This section is dedicated to SOUTHERN ONTARIO so some of the answers may not be applicable to other regions. We are working on developing a FAQ for each province where we currently offer our custom forecasts.

+ WHAT IS MY FORECAST REGION?
At Instant Weather, we have divided Southern Ontario into 7 different forecast zones. This allows us to refer to an entire region in our forecast write-ups instead of talking about individual locations. See the above map for a rough idea of how we define each forecast zone. Please note that these zones are only applicable for forecasts issued by Instant Weather. Other forecasters and organizations may have different definitions. We have also included Environment Canada's alert zones to help with identifying the correct region for your location, but these regions aren't reflective of the regions that Environment Canada uses in their forecasts.
