We’ve been tracking the latest storm slated to bring heavy snowfall and very high winds to the province for this Friday. Models are still in a bit of a disagreement for Western and Central Newfoundland, with the European and American models suggesting much less snow than the Canadian model. However, all three models are projecting more than 50cm of snow for Eastern Newfoundland and the Avalon. If the trend continues for this area, it’s possible that we may even have to adjust our legend for the amount of snow that’s expected. Check back with us tomorrow for our final forecast for snow amounts and wind gusts.
