📬 How to Make Sure You Receive Our Emails

If you’ve contacted us but haven’t received a reply, our message may have gone to your Junk or Spam folder — especially if you use Hotmail, Live.com, or Outlook.com. These Microsoft email services sometimes filter our messages by mistake.

To make sure our emails reach your inbox, please follow the steps below.

✅ Step 1: Check Your Junk Email Folder

  1. Go to https://outlook.live.com and sign in.

  2. On the left-hand side, click the folder labeled Junk Email.

  3. If you see a message from help@instantweather.ca, right-click on it and choose:

    • “Mark as not junk”, or

    • “Move to Inbox”

✅ Step 2: Add Us to Your Safe Senders List

  1. While still at https://outlook.live.com, click the ⚙️ gear icon in the top-right corner.

  2. At the bottom of the menu, click “View all Outlook settings.”

  3. Go to MailJunk email.

  4. Under Safe senders and domains, click Add and type:

    • instantweather.ca

    • help@instantweather.ca

  5. Click Save.

📩 Optional: Create a Rule to Always Deliver Our Emails to Your Inbox

  1. In Settings, go to MailRulesAdd new rule.

  2. Name it something like "Instant Weather".

  3. Under Add a condition, choose From, then enter: help@instantweather.ca

  4. Under Add an action, choose Move toInbox

  5. Click Save.

💡 Tips

  • These steps are easiest using a web browser on a computer or tablet.

  • Even if you check your mail through a mobile app, spam filtering happens on Microsoft’s servers — so adjusting settings through the web interface is the most effective way to ensure delivery.
