Forecast Discussion

Severe thunderstorms are expected to continue into this evening in parts of eastern Saskatchewan. The main risks include large hail 2-5 cm, heavy rain that could cause isolated flooding for those who see long-lasting storms or multiple rounds of storms, damaging wind gusts up to 100 km/h or perhaps even higher in the strongest storms, and a conditional, slight risk for a tornado or two. The most intense thunderstorms are expected between 6:00 PM and 11:00 PM this evening.
