Weekly Storm Outlook

A couple disturbances could bring some snow to New Brunswick this week. The first half of the week is relatively quiet. On Thursday a low pressure system passing to the south could bring some accumulating snow to the Southwest and Fundy coast. On Sunday another system has the sights set on bringing snow to most of the province.

**Note this is a preliminary outlook. Since we're 4 to 6 days away from seeing these two systems, much can change. If the projected track of the system changes, so will the amount of snow it brings

Monday: No significant weather expected. Some light snow possible overnight, with minimal accumulation

Tuesday: No significant weather expected

Wednesday: No significant weather expected. Some light snow possible, with minimal accumulation

Thursday: A low pressure system passing to the south could bring some accumulating snow to the Southwest and Fundy coast. Accumulations of 5-15cm are possible. Winds near the Fundy coast 15-35km/h, gusting to 80km/h.

Friday: No significant weather expected

Saturday: No significant weather expected

Sunday: A low pressure system is projected to impact most of the province, with accumulations from 5 to 30cm in places. It's way too soon to give an accurate assessment of who will get how much snow. Daytime temps ranging from just over the freezing mark, to -11*c. Winds 15 to 20km/h, gusting to 60km/h in places, is likely to create some blowing and drifting snow

As noted earlier, this is a preliminary long range outlook. If the track of these low pressure systems change, so will the amount of snow they bring. We'll update through the week as things become clear

Have a fantastic week!!!
