Another winter storm is on tap for the middle of the week where up to 25cm could fall along the Atlantic coastline.
A low-pressure system will approach New England Thursday morning where it will move over southeast NS and move north along the coast. This will bring a heavy snowfall for most of the region where general amounts of 10-25cm can be expected for the province. Wind gusts up to 80km/h can be expected.
The tricky part for this storm will be the extreme southern parts of the province where the rain-snow line extent is uncertain and will be dependant on the storm track. If the storm tracks more inland there will be more mixed precipitation further north and if the storm stays close to the coast, mixed precipitation will be further south which is the solution we have shown on the map.
Stay tuned for further updates in the next coming days.
