Alberta: Thunderstorm Forecast for Monday, July 10, 2023

There is an isolated risk for severe thunderstorms on Monday afternoon extending from Lethbridge through Calgary and into Grande Prairie. The primary threats will be large hail up to the size of toonies, 90 km/h wind gusts and funnel clouds. In rare cases, funnel clouds can touch down and become a landspout tornado.

The rest of Southern and Central Alberta including Edmonton can expect localized non-severe thunderstorm activity, but it will be very sporadic and not everyone will see it.
