Southern Ontario: Thunderstorm Outlook for Monday, June 7, 2021

Isolated pop-up thunderstorms are expected to develop around Lake Simcoe and track towards the northeast during the afternoon hours affecting parts of Central and Eastern Ontario. A few storms may also develop around the Quebec border crossing into the Ottawa Valley. These storms should remain non-severe with strong wind gusts, small hail, heavy rainfall and frequent lightning strikes. Later in the evening, some storms over Michigan could cross into Extreme Southwestern Ontario affecting the Windsor and Sarnia area.
