Southern Ontario: Snowfall Outlook for Wednesday, March 2, 2022
/Forecast Discussion
Another clipper is set to slide across Southern Ontario starting Wednesday afternoon and continuing through the evening. A few hours of heavy snowfall is expected, but we’re not expecting any significant accumulation from this system. Widespread totals through Central and Eastern Ontario along with regions east of Lake Huron will range from 2-6cm with locally up to 8cm possible. Could see some lake enhancement off Georgian Bay so the Muskoka region will likely see the most snow from this event. The rest of Southern Ontario can expect scattered flurries with very little accumulation. It should taper off just after midnight as the clipper moves out of the region.
