MANITOBA: Thunderstorm Forecast for Tuesday, June 27, 2023

FORECAST DISCUSSION
Scattered thunderstorms are expected to affect much of Southern Manitoba throughout the afternoon and evening on Tuesday. The environment is favourable for some of these storms, particularly in the Dauphin and Interlake region to become severe. As such, we have given this region a ‘slight’ risk of severe weather while the isolated threat is more expansive including Winnipeg. Main risks include up to golf ball-sized hail, 100 km/h wind gusts and even an isolated tornado can’t be ruled out.
