Thunderstorms are expected to develop in Alberta and Western Saskatchewan during the late afternoon and evening hours on Monday. There is a slight risk that some of these storms become severe with large hail up to the size of golf balls and 100 km/h wind gusts being the main threats. The highest chance for severe storms includes Maple Creek, Shaunavon, Kindersley and Lloydminster. An isolated tornado can’t be ruled out, but the tornado risk isn’t expected to be overly strong.
