After some scattered showers today in Central and Eastern Ontario and into the GTA, dry conditions will continue tomorrow, elevating most of the area from low to moderate risk. The high risk is expected again for Parry Sound and into Southwestern Ontario, but the extreme risk region has expanded as a result of the continued lack of moisture and temperatures in the mid to upper 20s. There is widespread rainfall expected to move into Southern Ontario beginning Sunday, which will decrease the overall wildfire risk across the region.

Please continue to follow the guidelines set out by local authorities when it comes to open air burning at this time.
