Yet another day of stormy weather is expected across much of Southern Saskatchewan on Wednesday. The storm threat is the strongest in an area northeast of Regina including locations such as Wynyard, Canora and Yorkton. Numerous isolated pop-up storms are expected to develop here during the late afternoon and early evening hours. There is a questionable severe risk here as well although confidence is too low to merit an upgrade to an isolated risk zone on our preliminary forecast.

Storms are also possible along the Alberta border in Western Saskatchewan with developed storms crossing into the province during the afternoon hours. It appears that hail will be the main threat but could also include strong wind gusts and heavy rainfall.
