Alberta: Thunderstorm Forecast for Monday, July 17, 2023

Widespread thunderstorm activity is expected across Central and Northern Alberta starting Monday afternoon and lingering into the evening hours. There are indications that some of these storms could reach severe levels, especially around the Red Deer, Edmonton and High Prairie area. The exact severity is unclear so we are sticking with an isolated severe risk although we may upgrade it in a future update.
